Accessibility at the California Science Center

Jody Stevenson, a deaf-born actress known for her guest role on Grounded for Life, had a positive experience during her first visit at the California Science Center in Los Angeles.

Stevenson visited Pompeii: The Exhibition and Mission 26: The Big Endeavour besides other exhibits at the museum.  For the Pompeii exhibit, Stevenson took advantage of the audio transcript provided onsite.

She also enjoyed the IMAX show, Forces of Nature with the help of rear captioning.  “We need more time to set up the equipment before the show though,” Stevenson said.

“The Endeavour was very impressive,” Stevenson said.  She found the exhibit to be accessible because everything was visual.
